Facebook is well on its way to reaching its new year's goal. How are yours coming?
The Palo Alto-based social-networking company vowed in December to make 2011 all about going mobile and it appears Facebook is well on it way to doing that.
The social network just passed 250 million monthly active mobile users, according to a new report.
To mark the occasion, Facebook rolled out a new single mobile website that is equally accessible to both feature and smartphone.
Back in February, Facebook introduced its first feature phone app to go along with its smartphone apps.
The company has also been rumored to be working on Facebook smartphones but it has consistently denied that.
That hasn't stopped other companies from creating phones with Facebook buttons for lazy people everywhere, which we're pretty sure doesn't hurt getting that active users' number above 250 million.
