For a company that did everything from raise its valuation by the billions to having its CEO named Time Magazine's Person of the Year to having an unauthorized movie made about the company garner multiple Oscar nominations, 2011 might look boring.
But in its own state of the union address, Facebook says it has clear goals for the new year and mobile expansion is at the top of the list.
The social network is already well on its way down that road. Last week the Palo Alto-based company introduced an app for feature phones.
Now on-again, off-again rumors have Facebook introducing not one, but two, Facebook phones as early as next month.
HTC reportedly will introduce two Facebook-branded phones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
The phones will run the Android operating system and have a color scheme inspired by Facebook.
