Just in time for the holidays, Google is reminding everyone about its Chromebook project by lowering its price.
Chromebooks are low-cost laptops that use a browser-based operating system.
The reboot has a cleaner login page, new shortcuts to apps and features and a new look for the Chrome Web Store, should users want to acquire apps and extensions.
And, like Google's blog states, they're "more giftable to loved ones" now. Especially now that the prices have dropped to $299 (from Acer and Samsung).
Chromebooks boot in eight seconds and are designed to be secure, easy to update and easy to use for everyone.
"Boom. We're Done. Let's get tacos..."
