Owners of the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 who wish to jailbreak their devices, can now do-so thanks to pod2g and the Chronic Dev Team.
The group has released "Absinthe 5" which allows for an untethered jailbreak, meaning your device doesn't always have to be booted from the jailbreak software now.
The release includes a command-line tool for more control over the process and helps if the device needs a repair, says MacRumors.
Users who jailbreak, should be aware that the warranty with Apple will be voided.
