The music lovers behind SF website the Bay Bridged and recording studio Tiny Telephone are bringing back their Phono del Sol music festival to San Francisco's Potrero del Sol Park from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 13.
Phono del Sol celebrates and encapsulates the Bay Bridged outlook toward supporting both emerging and established artists in the local indie rock scene. Garage gods Thee Oh Sees headline the day, which is also anchored by Yacht, K. Flay, Marnie Stern, Blouse, Painted Palms, Radiation City, Social Studies, Cool Ghouls, Surf Club, and B. Hamilton.
Admission starts at $20 in advance via Eventbrite and $25 at the door; there is also a VIP option for $50. It might be a good idea to consider bringing a little extra cash to splurge on a bite from one of the eight funky food trucks that will be on site, including the Southern-themed Voodoo Van, the mobile extension of Kasa Indian Restaurant, and the spelling-averse but markedly tasty Frozen Kuhsterd.
