Caught up in the scandal that cost him his marriage to Sandra Bullock, Jesse James will appear on ABC's "Nightline, where he'll give his first TV interview since the breakup.
According to a sneak preview, James tells ABC's Vicki Mabrey he "took an amazing life and amazing success and marriage...and threw it away by my own hands." He will reportedly discuss his stint in behavioral rehab and the allegations he cheated on Bullock with a parade of tattooed skanks.
James is also going through another major life change two months after Bullock moved out with the child they adopted and filed for divorce. The motorbike mechanic is selling the two-story Orange County home he shared with the actress during their five-year marriage and moving to Austin, Texas, according to a report. It was not known how much he was asking, but the Sunset beach house is assessed at $3.6 million.
"Jesse has put his house up for sale," a source told People magazine.
James continued to live in the home with his kids from a prior relationship, Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15. But the magazine said he's already made an offer on a home in Texas. While James and the Oscar-winning beauty were married, they made Austin their adopted hometown, and Bullock has been seen there and in New Orleans since their seismic split.
James owns Austin Speed Shop, a custom–car garage, and Bullock owns an Austin restaurant, Bess Bistro.
A pal of James told the mag the cheating gearhead still hopes to win back Bullock.
"His mind-set is the same as [just after the split], and Jesse feels that as time goes by, his and Sandra's relationship has still not reached the final chapter," the friend told People. "He is not giving up hope that Sandra will come back to her family."
