Apparently the only thing that can keep red-hot pop star Justin Bieber down is cold.
The moppish-haired singer was forced to cancel a recent performance in Syracuse, NY, due to his illness, reports the New York Daily News.
"really dont know what to twitter...im getting rest right now and trying to recover from the not so good from the doctor," he posted from his sickbed.
Bieber is set to perform at Madison Square Garden on August 31 with the show being taped for use in a 3-D movie about his "My World Tour."
"im gonna be ok just need 2 rest but i wanted all of u 2 know i never want to let any of u down. ever. i appreciate all the kind words," he wrote.
According to a reporter for the Daily News, Bieber seemed to be in good spirits at an August 28 show in New Jersey.
"He was energetic, dancing, running around the stage, flirting with his fans," said David Yi.
