A mere $20,000 a month is enough to get you living like the Dead.
The former Stinson Beach waterfront mansion of Grateful Dead lead man Jerry Garcia is up for sale, for just a hair under $4 million, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
"Sans Souci" has three buildings and an 180-degree view of the Pacific Ocean. Garcia lived here in the 1970s, the Chronicle reports, and laid down tracks in a "one-bath studio" that's 2,652 square feet all by itself.
Not bad.
The outdoor amenities include a "pool, spa, and stone patio," and opportunity to reference all the Dead songs you could possibly think of on the long winding road up Highway 1.
