Apple seems to be getting ready to jump into the social networking pool with both feet.
We've already seen them testing the waters with Ping on iTunes, but other clues have appeared buried deep in the code of iOS4.3.
According to the website 9 to 5 Mac, there is folder in the system called "Media Stream," and a folder within that called "Photo Stream."
The website speculates iPhone users will be able to invite friends to "subscribe" to their photo stream, choosing who gets to see it and who doesn't.
The site goes on to suggest the service will work with MobileMe, allowing people to share photos and possibly more.
Apple is working on something called "Find My Friends" which could work like Google Latitude, allowing the user to see all their friends on a map.
Apple's new social networking tools may show up in iOS 5.
