A big rig smashed into a Los Altos home on Wednesday afternoon.
Witnesses said the driver was seen working down the road prior to the crash.
At around 4 p.m. the truck left and somehow smashed through a gate and hit a small boat parked on the side of the home on Marvin Avenue. The big rig ended up in the garage and the home was heavily damaged from the crash.
Santa Clara County Fire crews responded to the crash and said the driver was transported to a hospital. Occupants of the home were uninjured, officials said.
Police do not know how the driver lost control of the truck and no charges are expected.
