A car drove into the Thanh Huong restaurant on North Capitol Avenue in San Jose.
Firefighters were sent to the Vietnamese restaurant about 8 a.m., though there were no injuries.
A witness told NBC Bay Area that the driver accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes.
San Jose police are investigating.
