Investigators are looking into the cause of a Sunday morning fire at a South Bay elementary school.
Firefighters were called out to Steinbeck Elementary School in South San Jose just before 3 a.m.
When the first engine arrived, firefighters found an electrical building on fire.
School officials said crews put out the fire before it spread to the main building of campus.
Although the school is calling it arson, fire department officials said the cause is still under investigation.
"Once we go in and we do our preliminary investigation, we'll turn it over to the school district for them to do their follow up investigation," San Jose fire spokesman Cleo Doss said. "There was no indication that it was an arson incident."

School officials said they will bring in an electrical contractor to repair the lines and bring back power.
School is out for the summer, and few staff members were planning on being on campus.
No injuries were reported.
