Peanuts, hot dogs -- jackfruit sandwich?
The food options on tap at the San Francisco 49ers' new $1.2 billion Levi's Stadium will include plenty of vegan options, dozens of them, in fact.
And they'll go well beyond the simple food options fans may be used to in other stadiums.

Every concession stand at Levi's Stadium will offer at least one vegan food item, vendor Centerplate told SF Weekly, and there will be 14 vegan items and 26 vegetarian options throughout the football palace on offer.
The vegan football fare will include curries, a jackfruit sandwich, portobello mushrooms and grilled nopales cactus tortas, as well as old-fashioned options like french fries and Crack Jacks, all free of meat and animal by-products
On top of that, all the cooking oil will be recycled and the utensils will all be compostable.
So it all goes to show: You can take the 49ers out of San Francisco, but you can't take the San Francisco out of the 49ers, indeed.
