San Francisco firefighters were able to put out a two-alarm fire at a three-story Victornian on Friday, and save some of the residents' priceless family photos.
One firefighter suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the trauma center.
The fire was reported about 8:30 a.m. at 157 Prospect Ave. that affected eight residents. At one point the fire spread to the attic and walls.
Emergency crews shut down Prospect Avenue from the 100 block to the 300 block, Baxter said.
The fire department tweeted out several photos of crews poring over boxes of photos and papers that were also salvaged.
