Festive Christmas lovers took to the streets of San Francisco Saturday clad in Santa Claus costumes to celebrate the annual SantaCon gathering, a festive jubilee with the simple idea of assembling as many Santas in one place as possible.
During th is year's pub crawl event, numerous people decked out in red Santa hats, flowing white beards or green elf costumes did their best to generate Christmas spirit.
Aside from creating some holiday cheer, visitors dug into their generosity and donated toys to the San Francisco Fire Department's toy drive.
The first SantaCon in San Francisco occurred in 1994, according to the event's website.
