Authorities have launched a death investigation after a man's body was found Thursday afternoon in San Jose.
A hiker discovered the body in the creek near Metcalf and Monterey roads, just west of Highway 101, and called 911. A Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office dive team also responded to the scene and helped police recover the body.
Police said there are no obvious signs of foul play.
The Santa Clara County Coroner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
