Silicon Valley Right-Wingers to Host Conservative Organizing Party

Reboot in San Francisco this summer with young Republicans.

There just isn't enough opportunity in Silicon Valley.

For a dyed-in-the-wool, true-red conservative.

So, a pair of Silicon Valley denizens with right-wing politics are planning their answer to Netroots Nation, according to the Huffington Post.

Startup employees Aaron Ginn, 26 -- a former Mitt Romney campaign worker -- and Garrett Johnson, 29, are looking to do what Democrats have done for almost a decade: connect conservative and libertarian "technologists" with old-school political campaigns with like minds.

Their organization, Lincoln Labs, is hosting a three-day conference in San Francisco this summer called Reboot, the HuffPo reported.

At the San Francisco offices of Causes, a fundraising and organizing platform co-founded by Napster maven Sean Parker, they'll put on a hackathon and generally make the same kind of tech connections liberals appear to have been doing for years -- ages in the tech world.

Reboot is scheduled for July 18 to July 20 in San Francisco.
