When it rains, you go “wakeskating”? That’s what some folks in Healdsburg did Thursday after a heavy storm flooded some streets and parking lots. Jodi Hernandez reports.

When it rains, you go "wakeskating"? That's what some folks in Healdsburg did Thursday after a heavy storm flooded some streets and parking lots.

NBC Bay Area's Jodi Hernandez shot this video of how some residents were making the best of the floodwaters outside a Safeway parking lot. And yes, they described to us as "wakeskating."

They weren't the only ones getting creative. In downtown Healdsburg, this guy tried to go kayaking.

And you may remember from earlier this month, the view our chopper stumbled up on of a man paddleboarding through Mill Valley.

On the sixth consecutive day of rain in the Bay Area, a man decided to paddle board in parts of flooded Mill Valley. The NBC Bay Area chopper flew overhead.
