The Coast Guard resumed the search for a third victim, Cal Fire officials said on social media Saturday.
It happened just before 9 p.m. Friday night.
According to CHP, the car went through an intersection on Highway 1 at Pescadero State Beach, when it kept going through the parking lot and off a cliff.
The names of the victims have not been officially released yet.
But earlier Saturday, family members who were at the crash site told NBC Bay Area one of the victims was Ipolito Anaya.
Elizabeth Anaya, the victim’s sister said they began to fear the worst when he didn't come home.
