NBC Bay Area’s chopper captured images Wednesday that can’t be seen from the ground: a bird's-eye view of Apple's new 176-acre “spaceship campus.”
The 2.8 million square foot ring will be the Cupertino campus’s main building with underground parking.
When it’s done, it will have a massive fitness center and auditorium, as well as offices, and research and development space.
Construction on the campus, which sits on property bounded by North Wolfe Road, Tantau Avenue, Calabazas Creek and Homestead Road, is expected to be complete by 2016.
