How do you get Steve Jobs to shun your country? Take away his ninja throwing stars.
The head of Apple has reportedly sworn an oath never to return to Japan after being forced to throw away his “shuriken,” or ninja stars, and "other handheld blades" at Kansai International Airport in Japan, according to a report in Bloomberg.
The thing is, Apple dismissed the story as nothing more than a ninja tale. The company admits Jobs traveled to Japan in July for a family vacation but called the story about its CEO and his ninja fetish to be pure "fiction."
In fact, Apple says Jobs had a wonderful time in Japan and he hopes to return soon.
After all mistakes do happen. Maybe airport officials simply mistook the "Ask a Ninja" app on Jobs' iPhone for the real deal.
