Bob Redell reports for NBC Bay Area’s morning news program, Today In the Bay.
Bob's reports range from coverage of breaking news to features. His quirky, engaging style has led NBC stations across the country to pick up his stories, and his work regularly airs on NBC California Nonstop in the Bay Area, Los Angeles and San Diego.
Bob graduated from Indiana University (a few years after Bobby Knight threw the chair) to become the feature reporter in Fort Myers, Fla. He then moved on to Jacksonville before eventually heading out west.
In 2000, he joined NBC Bay Area where he has since received seven Emmy Awards for reporting.
Bob and his family live in Livermore, California.
