Mountain View police have arrested a suspect in a violent assault on the Stevens Creek Trail that left a woman seriously injured Monday, Feb. 25. Police Arrest Man After Car Chase at Caldecott Tunnel in Antioch
One of two westbound lanes of Caldecott Tunnel was closed Saturday afternoon following a police chase in Antioch. Officers pursued a stolen vehicle from the parking lot of Sycamore Square in the 1000 block of Sycamore Drive. The suspect then led police into the tunnel where he began ramming the stolen vehicle into patrol cars.
