San Francisco celebrates another year of the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival with over 200,000 attendees with dazzling displays showcasing the color and grace of Japanese culture. For this year’s 50th celebration, the Grand Parade will be held on Sunday April 16, 2017, beginning on Civic Center proceeding to Polk to Post Street and ending in Japantown between Post and Filmore Streets. Enjoy the diversity of the Japanese-American Community and the blooming of the beautiful cherry blossoms on two weekends : April 8th – 9th and April 15th – 16th from 10 am to 5 pm. All are welcome to join in festivities including delicious food booths, cultural performances, martial arts, live bands, the annual Queen Program, and so much more!
