One of the most popular summer events in the south bay is back for another summer! Be sure to check out Music on the Square every Friday night this summer through September 1. Right outside the historic Fox Theatre in Redwood City at the Courthouse Square, great restaurants and bars all around pair well with the wonderful performances.
If you loved the rock n' roll of the early 50s, then join Mitch Woods and His Rockin 88s on June 23. The group blends the stylings of Louis Jordan and Roy Milton with a healthy dose of New Orleans, blues-style rythm.
But, maybe country music suites you better! If so, then be sure to catch Whiskey Dawn on August 18! Their debut album "Dear Nashville" is making headway, breaking the mold for 'California Country.'
If pop and soul are more for you, then you can't miss Pride and Joy on September 1. Their electrifying take on the genres make dancing seem natural and necessary to anyone spectating!
