President Barack Obama is no stranger to late night talk shows and on Tuesday he'll add "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" to the list of talk shows he's appeared on.
Following appearances on Jay Leno and David Letterman, Obama will make his first appearance on Fallon’s late night NBC program in a segment taped from the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The segment will air that evening.
White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer announced on Twitter that Obama plans to discuss a plan that would help keep student loan costs in check.
According to USA Today, his appearance on late night talk shows could help his campaign target a younger audience.
Obama became the first sitting president to appear on late night talk shows. In 2009, he was a guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and has since made appearances on other shows, including "Late Show with David Letterman," "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report."
Fallon has also hosted his fair share of political guests. Over the past year, his guests have included Mitt Romney supporter Donald Trump, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
