Peninsula Humane Society Waives Adoption Fees for Senior Cats and Dogs

In honor of Valentine’s Day, the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA) is hosting a Senior Sweetheart adoption event by waiving adoption fees for cats and dogs aged seven years or older through the entire month of February. 

Ariel, a 13-year old calico cat is just one of the dozens of senior animals available for adoption at PHS/SPCA.  Ariel is a very sweet and affectionate spayed female who has been waiting at the shelter for more than five months to be adopted. The adoption event will also showcase the benefits of adopting older pets. Potential adopters are advised to arrive at least an hour before closing time to complete the adoption process. 
Where: PHS/SPCA Tom and Annette Lantos Center for Compassion, 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame. 
Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends
