Did you feel it?
A magnitude-5.3 earthquake rattled Imperial County Saturday morning, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
USGS reported the earthquake happened at 10:55 a.m. and centered about 6.8 miles (11 kilometers) west of Calipatria, California, in Imperial County, north of El Centro.
It was the biggest among a cluster of earthquakes reported in the area. According to the USGS earthquake map, other earthquakes in the area have ranged from 2.6 to 3.4.
NBC 7 had callers who reported shaking in Santee, Chula Vista and Tijuana.
No injuries or structural damage have been reported in connection to the quake.
