Hikers map out 200-mile route through the Sierra
Back in 1915, the Sierra Club created the world-famous John Muir Trail, considered the preeminent trail through California, about 200 miles from Yosemite to Mt. Whitney. And now, there’s a new trail called the Sierra Grand Traverse and it’s documented in a new guidebook written by John and Monica Chapman. NBC Bay Area’s Raj Mathai spoke to the couple for some insight.
