A preliminary 3.6 magnitude earthquake struck in Mono County in Northern California on Saturday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.Β
The quake, which struck at 8:32 a.m., was centered about 3.5 miles west of Walker and 37.5 miles southeast of South Lake Tahoe.Β
