Three buildings were damaged and a firefighter was injured in a three-alarm blaze in San Francisco's West Portal neighborhood Monday, according to the fire department.
The fire department said the blaze broke out in the area of West Portal and 14th avenues.
The injured firefighter will be OK, according to the fire department. No other injuries were reported.
The fire department said the blaze was sparked accidentally by construction work.
No homes were involved in the fire.
