Two children who were allegedly abducted by a woman in King City have been found, deactivating the Amber Alert issued on Saturday, according to California Highway Patrol.

7-year-old Selene Zavala and 2-year-old Osvaldo Sebastian were suspected of being abducted by 28-year-old Jacqueline Guajardo from King County in the Central Valley.

An Amber Alert to locate the children was sent out Saturday evening to Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz, and Santa Clara counties. The children were found less than two hours after the alert was activated.

On Saturday, the King City Police Department responded to a welfare check call for Guajardo after she threatened to harm her two younger children and herself.

According to KCPD, Guajardo had physically assaulted her 11-year-old son.

Guajardo was spotted and arrested for child abuse by a CHP offer in the San Jose area.

She is currently booked at the Santa Clara County Jail.
