Four People Displaced by House Fire in San Francisco's Bernal Heights Neighborhood

Firefighters early Monday contained a two-alarm fire that broke out at a single-family house in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, officials said.

At 1:58 a.m., fire officials announced on social media that the blaze at 254 Prospect Avenue had been contained. Flames were first reported shortly after 1 a.m.

According to fire officials, both of the neighboring homes on either side of the fire were affected.

No injuries were reported. Representatives from the American Red Cross responded to the scene to assist four people displaced by the blaze, fire officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, fire officials said.
