What better way is there to spend Valentine’s Day than with a massive pillow fight?
According to the many who gathered in San Francisco, there isn’t one. Hordes of people swarmed Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco Sunday evening, armed with fluffy pillows and a quirky determination to have a good time.
The plaza ground was littered with feathers from ripped pillows, but many attendees came armed with garbage bags to clean up after the festivities.
The Valentine’s Day Pillow Fight is somewhat of a tradition in San Francisco. The event, which is loosely organized through Facebook and social media, is not sponsored with any official organization, although it returns like clockwork every year.
