PG&E has confirmed that 4,002 customers lost power Saturday around 7:12 p.m., most of them in Mill Valley.
Power was restored around 8:30 p.m. PG&E officials said that the cause was an underground equipment failure in the 600 block of Blithedale Avenue in Mill Valley.
