Woz to Compete in Dancing with the Stars

Steve Wozniak, millionaire co-founder of Apple Computer, to compete in dance-off.

Steve Wozniak, the wealthy co-founder of Apple Computer, is making the jump from cable to broadcast television on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

He was last seen alongside onetime girlfriend Kathy Griffin on her show, My Life on the D-List, which aired on Bravo.

"Woz," as he's generally referred to by fans and admirers, started Apple Computer in the seventies with then-partner and now-CEO Steve Jobs.

In computer geek circles, Wozniak is better known for his skill in riding a Segway electric scooter than his graceful rumba.

In case you didn't know, Woz competes in Segway Polo matches regularly.

In his next competition he'll be up against musicians Jewel, Belinda Carlisle and Lil' Kim, actress Denise Richards and gymnast Shawn Johnson, among others.

His dalliance with Griffin was short-lived, and he's rumored to have secretly married his fourth wife, Janet Hill, in the aftermath.

Woz certainly doesn't need the prize money.  Besides a sizable stake in Apple Computer stock, he's been on the payroll at the company since 1987.

He'll be tripping the light fantastic on a television near you starting March 9th.

Jackson West can manage a servicable box-step, but prefers the pop-and-lock.
