Bay Area baseball bat maker, Birdman Bats, is getting slammed with orders after torpedo bats became the craze in the market. The craze came after several players on the New York Yankees started using the bats and hitting home runs. NBC Bay Area’s Raj Mathai spoke with Gary Malec, founder of Birdman Bats, to understand the craze.
