Gas prices dropped nearly 10 cents per gallon over the past two weeks, according to analysts.
Analysts said it is because of an abundant supply and a cut in wholesale prices.
In the Bay Area, a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.97. One month ago, it was $4.06.
In San Jose, a gallon of gas costs $3.86, down 9 cents from a month ago.
In Oakland, drivers are paying similar prices.
