Understanding Bay Area impact of President Trump's tariffs

Across the Bay Area, tech companies, businesses and families are expected to feel the impact of tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump. Some of the world’s leading tech giants, like Apple, Alphabet, and Meta, are already seeing an impact on Wall Street. A Yale study indicated that families can see a yearly impact of $3,800, and some restaurant owners are already planning how to brave the effect. NBC Bay Area’s Raj Mathai spoke with Rep. Jimmy Panetta, D- San Jose and Santa Cruz, to understand the potential impact.
