Working Scholars, a program providing free college degrees graduates its largest class and a San Jose teen sells macaroons to raise money for charity. Garvin Thomas reports.
In 2017, Study.com established the Working Scholars program. It offered anyone who lived or working in the company's hometown of Mountain View a path to a free undergraduate college degree through online courses.
The program has since spread to six different counties and recently celebrated the graduation of 53 students, its largest class yet.
