Bay Area Resident Who Fled Ukraine in 1989 Terrified For Family, Friends Amid Invasion

Born, raised and married in Kyiv, a San Ramon resident and her husband fled in 1989 before the fall of the Soviet Union, coming to the U.S. as refugees. Now she’s terrified for her family friends in the capital city. Jodi Hernandez reports.
