Bay Area Scientists to Study Impacts of DART Mission

People around the world watched a cosmic crash that took place nearly 7 million miles away. A NASA spacecraft intentionally slammed into an asteroid, to see if it could alter its direction, with the hope of someday saving the Earth from a potentially catastrophic collision. Terry McSweeney explains how Bay Area scientists will be involved in the research.
