A storm system hitting the Bay Area with gusty wind this week has already caused several issues across the region.

Hwy. 128 in Sonoma County closed in both directions
State Highway 128 was blocked in both directions from the Sonoma/Mendocino county line south to Highway 101 in Cloverdale Friday because of weather-related issues, according to the CHP.
100 vehicles stalled on Patterson Pass Road due to snow
The California Highway Patrol on Friday morning was urging commuters to avoid Patterson Pass Road into the Tri-Valley due to at least 100 vehicles stalled on the roadway because of snowy conditions, according to a tweet from CHP Dublin.
Highway 17 shut down in both directions

Both directions of Highway 17 in the Santa Cruz Mountains were shut down early Friday, because of downed trees, a jackknifed big rig and snow at the summit, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Trees down in San Mateo
Two eucalyptus trees came crashing down at Aragon High School in San Mateo, according to police.
Downed tree blocks road in Foster City
A tree came down in Foster City and was blocking lanes of westbound East Hillsdale Boulevard, police said.
Fallen tree blocks lanes on Bay Bridge
A downed tree is blocking three lanes of westbound traffic on the Bay Bridge at the Treasure Island tunnel, according to the California Highway Patrol. View more updates here.
Portion of roof blown off home in Santa Rosa
Firefighters in Santa Rosa reported responding to several wind-related incidents, including downed power lines, trees into cars, outages and even a portion of a roof blown off a home.
Downed power lines and trees in Fremont
Fremont police are asking residents to avoid Walnut Avenue between Overacker Avenue and Gallaudet Drive due to downed power lines and trees.
Downed trees reported on the Peninsula
A fallen tree in San Carlos forced the closure of Cherry Street between Chestnut and Elm streets.
