Cities in the Bay Area Consider ‘Hazard Pay' for Food Workers

An effort to reward grocery store workers with COVID-19 hazard pay is gaining momentum across the Bay Area, with Oakland and San Jose taking up the plan Tuesday. But grocery store owners say, it’s a plan that would end up costing those who can least afford it. Terry McSweeney reports.
