Evacuations issued following gas, water leak in Cupertino

Santa Clara County fire crews responded to a gas leak and water line break in Cupertino on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred in the 7800 block of Creekline Road in Cupertino.

According to Santa Clara County fire, PG&E confirmed a 2-inch gas line was impacted. Evacuations are in place for the following areas:

Creekline Drive to Jeanette Court
Kenmore Court to Festival Drive
September Drive to Fiesta Lane
November Drive to November Court

Officials added that a shelter-in-place advisory is in place from November Drive to Creekline Drive to Jeannette Court. Residents in that area are being asked to remain indoors with windows and doors shut.
