A preliminary 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck Monday morning near Santa Rosa, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake hit at 8:51 a.m. and was centered about 16 miles east-northeast of Santa Rosa, the USGS said.
No other information was immediately available. Updates to come.
