A preliminary 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck Monday morning off the coast of Northern California, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The first quake hit at 8:41 a.m. and was centered in the Pacific Ocean about 38 miles west-southwest of Eureka in Humboldt County, te USGS said.
