A preliminary 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck Wednesday morning near Gilroy, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake rumbled at 8:27 a.m. and was centered about 6 miles east of Gilroy on San Felipe Lake, the USGS said.
No other information was immediately available. Updates to come.
