A preliminary 2.6 magnitude earthquake struck Friday morning southeast of Gilroy, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake struck at 6:33 a.m. and was centered about 15 miles southeast of Gilroy, the USGS said.
No other information was immediately available. Updates to come.
