18-year-old elected to Fremont School Board

By less than 30 votes, Fremont voters elected an 18-year-old to serve on the district’s school board. She becomes the youngest woman ever to serve on the board. NBC Bay Area’s Raj Mathai spoke with Rinu Nair to understand why she ran and what her plans were while in office.
